The Governor’s STEM Scholars engages the next generation of STEM leaders, high school and college students, in the state’s innovation economy.
Providing our Scholars with connections, mentors, and relationships within the state’s research community sets them on an academic and career path to become New Jersey’s future STEM professionals and secures our state’s talent pipeline.
Participating Scholars:
- Gain a 360° view of New Jersey’s STEM economy through four conferences;
- Network with the state’s leading STEM professionals;
- Visit top STEM facilities and labs getting a look at cutting-edge research;
- Conduct a research/ engineering design project that impacts their community; and,
- Join an elite network of young STEM professionals
