Craig B. Arnold, vice dean for innovation and University innovation officer at Princeton, will receive the Catalyst Award from the Research & Development Council of New Jersey for his leadership in developing Princeton and the state as a hub of innovation.
The council also announced Tuesday that Bonnie Bassler, Princeton’s Squibb Professor in Molecular Biology, and postdoctoral fellow Justin Silpe *20 will receive an Edison Patent Award for their development of methods to preserve human breast milk.
School of Architecture graduate alumni Nathaniel Banks *21 and Yidian Liu *21, co-founders of PolyGone Systems, will receive the Emerging Tech Award for technology they developed to filter microplastics from water.
